Tour Program: Day 1: Arrival - Phnom Penh (L) Our tour guide and driver meet and welcome you at the Phnom Penh International airport and then transfer to hotel for check in Lunch at local restaurant We are start to sightseeing the Phnom Penh Tour such as: Visit to Royal Palace, situated on the site of the former citadel, it was built by king Norodom in 1966, in front of the Mekong. Inside its walls are the Throne Hall, the Chan Chaya Pavilion, used for performances of classical dance, the Napoleon III Pavilion, and the King and Queen's residential quarters. Next stop will be Silver Pagoda, home to a glittering array of Buddhist statuary. Silver Pagoda is also called the Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha, it is located in the walls of the Royal Palace. Inside, its floor is made up of 5, 000 silver blocks. In the center of the pagoda, there is a magnificent 17th century emerald Buddha statue made of baccarat crystal. The walls enclosing the pagoda are covered with frescoes depicting episodes from the Khmer version of the Ramayana. We visit the National Museum, the world’s leading museum of Khmer sculpture. National Museum is situated near the Royal Palace, Cambodia's National Museum offers a charming setting for the display of a stunning collection of Khmer art. Predominantly worked in stone, the sculptures date from both the Angkorean and pre-Angkorean eras, complimented by more recent examples of Cambodian art. The museum is housed in a terracotta-roofed structure of traditional Cambodian design, which was built between 1917 and 1920, and then view sunset from Wat Phnom, the symbol of the city. Overnight at hotel. Day 2: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/L) Breakfast at hotel, we visit to the harrowing genocide museum at Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields of Choeng Ek, both enduring memorials to the gruesome and brutal rule of the Khmer Rouge and then, we go to shopping at Russian Market where is the popular place for local Khmer people and tourists. Lunch at local restaurant Afternoon, we transfer to catch the domestic flight to Siem Reap, our tour guide and driver meet and welcome you at Siem Reap airport and then transfer to hotel for check in Overnight at hotel. Day 3: Siem Reap (B/L) Breakfast at hotel, we start to visit one of the earliest capitals in the Angkor area is Roluos Group with Preah Ko, Bakong & Lolei temples Lunch at local restaurant Afternoon, visit to Srah Srang (Pool of Ablutions), measuring 800m by 400m. Banteay Kdei, built in 1186 by Jayavarman VII who was a Mahayana Buddhist and then visit to Eastern Mebon, this temple has large guardian elephants on each corner. Return to Siem Reap via the temple of Kravanh. Built entirely from brick and dating from 921, this temple was extensively restored in the 1960s and enjoy sunset from Phnom Bakheng. Overnight at hotel. Day 4: Siem Reap (B/L) This morning, we visit to Ta Prohm, was a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few temples in the Angkor region where an inscription provides information about the temple’s dependents and inhabitants, continue to visit Takeo, built by Jayavarman V, it was dedicated to Shiva and was the first Angkorian monument built entirely of sandstone. We also visit to Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon temples. Lunch at local restaurant Afternoon, we visit to Preah Khan is one of the largest complexes at Angkor, was built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. Sister temple to Ta Prohm and then we continue to Neak Pean temple, it has a large square pool surrounded by four smaller square pools. Overnight at hotel. Day 5: Siem Reap - Kbal Spean - Banteay Srei (B/L) Today, we visit Kbal Spean, The original ‘River of a Thousand Lingas’, was ?€œdiscovered?€? in 1969, when EFEO ethnologist Jean Boulbet was shown the area by an essai, the area was soon off-limits due to the civil war, only becoming safe again in 1998. It’s about 50km northeast of Siem Reap or about 18km beyond the temple of Banteay Srei. It’s a 1.5km uphill walk to the carvings, along a pretty path that winds its way up into the jungle, passing by some interesting boulder formations along the way. Lunch at local restaurant Afternoon, we visit to Banteay Srei, construction on Banteay Srei began in 967 and it is one of the few temples around Angkor not to be commissioned by a king, but by a Brahman who may have been a tutor to Jayavarman V. Banteay Srei means ?€œCitadel of the Women?€? and it is said that it must have been built by a woman, as the elaborate carvings are too fine for the hand of a man. Continue to visit Banteay Samre, built by King Suryavarman II and dates from the same period as Angkor Wat. Overnight at hotel Day 6: Siem Reap - Angkor Wat (B/L) After breakfast, we journey to the Mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, this is most famous temple at Angkor. Lunch at local restaurant In the afternoon, visit to Angkor Thom, built by King Jayavarman VII. Following the occupation of Angkor by the Chams from 1177 to 1181, the new king decided to build an impregnable fortress at the heart of his empire, visit to Terrace of the Leper King Terrace of Elephants, Baphuon and Bayon temples. Overnight at hotel Day 7: Siem Reap - Departure (B/L) After breakfast, we travel to Phnom Krom to visit floating village and take a boat trip on Tonle Sap, Everything floats on water in this living fishing community. There are floating schools, floating shops, floating petrol stations, even floating karaoke bars. Lunch at local restaurant Afternoon, we go to old market (Phsar Chas) for shopping and buy some souvenirs before our tour guide and driver transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight departure.
