Travel Vietnam from Hanoi to Saigon

From Hanoi most visitors strike out east to the labyrinth of limestone outcrops in Halong Bay or to the mountain regions of Sapa close to the Chinese frontier.  For the majority of visitors, the furiously commercial southern metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City provides a head-spinning introduction.  A trip out into the rice fields and orchards of the nearby Mekong Delta makes a welcome next stop.  Up the coast, the ancient sea port of Hoi An, the former imperial capital of Hue and the idyllic beach resort of Na Trang have been favorite haunts since the French first colonized this enchanting country.   

DAY 1 : ARRIVE HANOI  (D)  

- Arrival to HANOI - Meet & Transfer to hotel . - Visit : Hoan  kiem Lake, Ngoc son temple , The Huc bridge -Excursion by cyclo in the old quarters - Dinner - Evening : Puppet water show- O/N in HANOI

DAY 2 : HANOI -  NINH BINH (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - Morning visit : Historical museum or Ethnological museum - Drive for NINH BINH. -  Boatting cruise on Hoang Long river , visit Kenh Ga thermal source - Pcnic lunch - Back to Ninh Binh , Visit : Hoa lu ancient capital , the temples of Dinh , Le dynasties  - Checkin at hotel - Dinner -  O/N in  NINH BINH  

DAY 3 : NINH BINH - THAI BINH - HAI PHONG - HA LONG  (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel -  Drive for HA LONG by the road across the Red Delta via Nam Dinh - Thai Binh - Kien An -. Stop by Hai Phong for sigh-seeing around the downtown (Du Hang ancient pagoda , Hang Kenh temple) - Arrive Ha Long at noon time - Embarkation on Junk , welcome drink and starting 2 days cruise on Ha Long Bay (World's natural heritage - one of 25 the best bays of the world) , visiting and exploration the  caves and lagoons , you can Rowing / Diving  / Fishing on bay - visit the Surpris cave , the fisher floating village , Titov beach  - Sunset view with dinner on boat - O/N on JUNK 

DAY 4 :  BAI TU LONG BAY - DONG TRIEU - HAI DUONG -  HANOI - LAO CAI (B, L, D)

- Sunrise breakfast - Explore caves of Luon or Three Palaces - Boat trip through the best Bai Tu Long with a lots of magnific scenery - Lunch on boat  - Debarkation - By car return to Ha Noi  , via DONG TRIEU (Ceramist village) and HAI DUONG (Pan-cake city) - Arrive Hanoi at late afternoon , Dinner then transfer to Hanoi Railway Station , by Train for Lao Cai - Dinner & O/N in Train (A/C sleeper 4 soft-berths cabinet)  

DAY 5 :  LAO CAI / SAPA  (B, L, D)

07:00 Arrive Lao Cai - After breakfast , by car visit the border market then departure for Sapa - Check in at hotel - Visit Sapa market where to meet a lot of VN’s minorities of the North-West to be  their  traditional multicoloured dress such as :  H’mong (Flower , Great-hair , Black , Red , White ..) , the Daos (Blue , Red , Silver ?€?) , Xapho , Nhang ?€?.  After Lunch , trekking in the Ta Van valley , visit a village of Giay minority to research the way of life of the minorities. - Dinner - Saturday night participate the famous night-market of the minorities : Love Market - O/N in SAPA 

DAY 6 :  SAPA / BAC HA / LAO CAI / HANOI  (B , L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - Departure for Bac Ha , the greatest kermess of the minorities in North-West ( Sunday only) - PM back to Lao Cai, by Train for Hanoi -Dinner & O/N in Train (A/C sleeper 4 soft-berths cabinet)

DAY 7 :  HANOI (B, L , D)

06:00 Arrive Hanoi -  Breakfast , visit Hanoi : Ho Chi Minh stilt-house , One pilared pagoda , Litteratury Temple -  Lunch - PM free for shopping - Dinner & O/N in HANOI 

DAY 8 :  HANOI / HUE  (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - Transfer to airport for flight to Hue - citadel Hue is the world cultural heritage  - Arrive Hue - Check in at hotel - Visit the forbidden imperial citadel - Lunch - PM boat trip on Huong river , visit Thien mu pagoda and Minh Mang mausoleum - Diner-royal  and enjoy the Hue traditional folk songs - O/N in HUE 

DAY 9 :  HUE - MY SON - HOI AN (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - Visit Dong Ba market then departs for Da Nang - across-over the Hai Van Tunnel - Via da nang , visit the Cham museum , Marble mountain - PM Drive for My Son , visit the Sanctuary of Cham empire - Back to Hoi An ancient town (World's cultural heritage) - Dinner - O/N in HOI AN 

DAY 10 :  HOI AN One day being Hoianian  (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - This day in Hoi an as the Lantern-making tour : One day being Hoianian , this tour takes you to a ancient house making lanterns, guests enjoyed themselves to make a lantern under the introduction by owner. You will receive a lantern gift, the rest time of tour the guests explore the ancient town : Japan bridge, Fuken club-house , Artisanats house - Dinner - O/N in HOI AN 

DAY 11 :  HOI AN - KON TUM (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - Overland for Kon Tum by the beautiful mountainous road (formerly the Ho Chi Minh trail) on Truong Son mountain , belongs the border VN-Cambodia - Visit some minority villages such as K’tus , Sedang ?€? Enjoy with the landscapes of East-Truong Son mountain and to have Picnic lunch - Arrive Kon Tum , visit the Wood-Cathedral and Kon Tum market , where to meet the VN’s mnority ethnics of Central High-landx - DinNer & O/N in KON TUM 

DAY 12 :  KON TUM - PLEIKU - BAN ME THUOC (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - Departs for Ban Me Thuoc  via Pleiku , visit a village of Jarais at Iam Nong , walking to visit the Great Grave House with the wood-status - After lunch at Pleiku , drive for Ban Me Thuc - Installation at Don village (as named as Elephant vilage) - Visit the village and meeting the Ed’hes - Dinner Ed’he style researching the way of life of the minority ethnics of Central ighland and listening the chief of village told about hunting the elephants - O/N in village  

DAY 13 : BAN ME THUOC - DAKRU - BINH DUONG - SAIGON (B, L, D)

Breakfast at village - Elephant driving around the village and into the Yok Don National Parc , visit the Tomb of Elephant’s King , across the logest suspending bridge over the Serepok river to visit Ino island , you can swim or bathing in river - Picnic lunch - PM drive trip to Saigon by the road No. 14 with immense the coffee and Caoutchoux plantations - Stop by Binh Duong to visit the ceramic village Tuong Binh Hiep - Arrive Saigon at late afternoon - Checking in hotel - Dinner & O/N in SAIGON  

DAY 14 : SAIGON / MYTHO / BENTRE / SAIGON   (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel - Visit Binh Tay market and China-town then drive to MY THO -  Boating cruise on the Tien river to Phoenix island, visit Tropical fruit gardens , Artisanats village - Lunch with specialities of Mekong in an orchard - PM Boat back to My Tho then drive back to Saigon - Dinner & O/N in SAIGON 

DAY 15 : SAIGON / CU CHI / PHAN THIET - MUI NE  (B, L, D)

Beakfast at hotel - Visit Notre-Dame de Saigon ,poste office then departs for Cu Chi , visit the famous underground Cu Chi with more than 200 km of tunnel has been created by hand - After lunch , drive for Mui Ne (Phan Thiet) - Checking in seaside resort - Dinner - O/N in MUI NE  

DAY 16 : MUI NE  (B)

Breakfast in resort - Full day free for sea-bathing / relaxing at resort - O/N in MUI NE

DAY 17 : MUI NE / SAIGON  (B)

Beakfast at resort - 12h00 Drive back to Saigon - Checking in hotel - Free for shopping -  O/N in SAIGON

DAY 18 : SAIGON DEPARTURE  (B, L, D)

Beakfast at hotel -  At leisure before check out - Transfer to Airport for departure. - GOOD BYE V.N.
